Making a Difference: Supporting Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service

We are thrilled to announce our annual effort to positively impact our community by sponsoring a local charity through various fundraising events. This year, we have chosen to contribute to the exceptional work of Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service. This remarkable organisation is dedicated to offering specialised care and vital support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families. More than 165 families rely on their services, and over 80% of their costs are covered by donations; Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service continually looks for new, creative ways to support those facing unimaginable challenges. We are honoured to contribute to their vital efforts and encourage others to join us in this worthy cause.

The Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service has a mission that goes beyond providing clinical care. They acknowledge that a life-threatening or life-limiting condition can have a profound impact on the whole family. Therefore, their approach is tailored to meet each child and their family's unique clinical, emotional, physical, spiritual, and practical needs. Their goal is not just to provide medical care but to create an environment where families can find support in the hospice and in their own homes. 

One of the most remarkable aspects of Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service is its unwavering commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their health condition, has opportunities to experience joy, fun, and adventures. The organisation goes beyond the traditional notions of hospice care, actively helping families create precious memories together. This holistic approach sets them apart, emphasising the importance of cherishing moments and fostering a positive environment for the whole family.

How we can help

Last year, we raised almost £3,000 for our chosen charity! Our fantastic team worked hard and dedicated their time to organise various fundraising events and activities throughout the year to celebrate the holidays and support our community members. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community and are committed to continuing our efforts to make a positive impact in the future. 

As we embark on another year of fundraising, we ask ourselves: "How can we help?" Whether it's through participating in our upcoming fundraising events, spreading awareness about Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service, or making a direct donation, every contribution counts.

This year, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to extend our support and positively impact the lives of the families who benefit from the services offered by Alexander Devine Children's Hospice.
